Hello! Did you see that I started a podcast last week?
Yep! It's called Easy Numbers and it's all about the numbers side of running a business. In each episode, I discuss a financial issue in business and how to deal with it, and speak to an inspirational business owner about their financial experiences running their own business and any obstacles they've overcome.
Starting a podcast is something I've wanted to do for a while, but I put it off because...I don't really know why! I thought it would be really complicated to sort out and take me away from my work, but it turns out it's pretty simple (and fun).
This week I chatted with the talented Gillian McDonald about charging more than you think you should, blogging and why being organised is the key to freelance success.
Gillian is a freelance social media manager and writer from Edinburgh. She works with small, creative and local businesses on everything from social media strategies and content creation to copywriting and photography. She also runs the lifestyle blog Elevatormusik, which focuses on topics like fashion, food and drink, travel and freelance tips.
You can listen to the podcast on Soundcloud or search for "Easy Numbers" on iTunes. I'd love it if you could review it on iTunes as well, this means it's more likely to be featured and help other business owners.
Let me know what you think!
